Google, which loves me like no other, sent me a link to the Fairfax County Public Library, which has a tiny excerpt from the beginning of the Listening Library version of This World We Live In, read by Emily Bauer, who did such a wonderful job reading Life As We Knew It.
Since I haven't gotten my copy yet, this is the first I've heard any of it.
I want to hear more!
But in the meantime, if you feel like visiting Fairfax County for a tiny taste, here you go.

Apparently the Fairfax library listing is a "pre-order" for patrons to reserve the audiobook, which will be released on 13 April (lucky, lucky day!). I'm hoping Audible will offer it, so I can download it to join the rest of my your moon saga - or Survivors saga, depending on whether or not one is feeling British!
Hope the last 50 pages of Blood Wounds are going well in your rewriting process.
Hi Elaine Marie Alphin-
I hope many Fairfax library patrons reserve the audiobook.
I also hope Random House sends me a copy so I can listen also!
I've been hard at work on Blood Wounds. I changed something fairly signficant around page 70, and as a result have had to change lots of other things.
But I'm determined to finish by some point this weekend. I sure hope I am, because I'm eating like a maniac while I work!
Have you ever thought of making Life as We Knew it into a movie. It would do great!

Hi Meagan-
I'd love it if LAWKI became a movie someday.

Hi Katherine and thank you-
I'm glad you liked This World We Live In so much. I certainly loved writing it.
Blood Wounds should come out in the fall of 2011, so you'll get plenty of reading done between now and then!
Hello, Susan, I enjoy reading the survivor series very much and I think it would be awesome if the seris became a movie.
Hi Ms. Pfeffer-
I love your series. I love all the characters and your plot ideas, but I think the movie wouldn't be quite as good. Please keep writing amazing stories!
