Today is the official publication date for my newest book
Blood Wounds.
I read a blog review that said
Blood Wounds is a love it or hate it kind of a book. Personally, I love it and I hope you'll at least like it.
Amazon likes it. They named it one of their
best YA novels for the month of September.
As my way of showing my appreciation for your support, I had new bookplates created just for
Blood Wounds. If you'd like one, for yourself or your library or your bookstore, email me with your name and mailing address (and if you need multiple ones let me know). I'll sign it and off it will go.
It's an exciting day for me. But I am kind of sorry to say goodbye to the countdown clock!

Hello and thanks to Lee, exBFF and Ing-
Here's hoping people like Blood Wounds.
I certainly enjoyed writing it!
I started it last night, thinking I would read a few pages before going to bed. Before I knew it, I had read the whole first section. It is so good so far and I can't wait to crawl into bed and read some more tonight!
Thanks Nora Durbin-
Let's hope you keep liking it (and that it doesn't cost you any sleep)!
Wow, I had to stay up late last night finishing this book! I loved it! I wrote a short review of it on my reading blog, if you're interested. I'll try to leave a link.
Blood Wounds
Thanks Linda Jacobs
I can't wait to get to work on
Monday (weird thing to say on a Friday evening) so I can order Blood Wounds for our library!
Susan, the kids at Pierce City, Missouri are still reading the Moon series--it's so fun for me to tell the new students each year about your visit here a few years back.
Our best wishes to you!
Patti
Hi Mrs. Corbett-
I still have very fond memories of my trip to Pierce City.
Please say hi to your students for me (and to any faculty members who might remember me). And tell your students I hope they like my books!
hey Susan!
Just got my bookplate and stuck in my copy of Blood Wounds!
Thanks!
Hi Lily-
I'm glad to hear it!
