I just got an e-mail from my editor saying Life As We Knew It will be the number ten book on the New York Times Paperback Children's Best Seller List this Sunday.
I will now and forever (well, now and forever starting on Sunday) be able to refer to myself as a New York Times Best Selling Author.

That is great, great news! Congratulations!
Just another reason for you not to retire!
Hey, when will D&G join it?
(And whose going to play who in the movie?)

Yay you!!! Congrats. I hope you're going to throw yourself a party to celebrate. Better yet, have someone throw the party for you. :o)

Congratulations!
Again congratulations, but I've been thinking since my first post... how does a book get on the best seller list four months after its been published?
You must have some great word of mouth (I know I've been talking about it to everyone I know.)!

Congratulations! I bought another hardcover copy today to give to a friend, so I'm doing my part.
Congratulations!!!! Now I can booktalk you as a New York Times Bestselling Author!
Congratulations!! That's great. And well-deserved. And now I can say I've photographed the lovely manicure of a NY Times bestselling author, which is also cool.
And now I can say that I knew you when.
(I've always wanted to say that).
Fantastic. Congratulations!

Hi everybody and thank you-
I am so thrilled and dumbfounded by this that I'm not even making charming self-deprecating jokes. I'm just going Wow!Wow!Wow!
I've wished, as I always do when something wonderful happens, that my father were still alive to share it with. But I'm aware how fortunate I am that my mother is.
I'm also very glad I began this blog. My career has been topsy turvy from the beginning, and it's an overwhelming pleasure to be able to share some of the topsy parts with all of you.
Or as us New York Times Best Selling Authors put it: Wow!Wow!Wow!
I just can't believe this is the first time for you! Congrats!!
Congrats
I wonder if the Teens in west Hartford helped out a bit. I hope so. Way to go.''

You go, girl!
But I'm not surprised; all the people I mention the book to say how much they enjoyed it, too!
CONGRATULATIONS! Not that I'm surprised or anything...
Awesome! So, does this mean there will be a third book? I'd really like to know what happens to Alex and Miranda and their families, maybe a couple of years later.
I hope I had a teeny-tiny bit to do with it - but if any book deserves it, this one does!
Congrats Susan! It's very deserved! Thank you for it and for all your books.
How exciting! I honestly can't think of a more deserving book. Congratulations!
