You may need a magnifying glass, this update is so tiny.
My editor tells me that ARCS of This World We Live In should be available in October, and they're planning on having them at NCTE in November.
You now know everything I know (actually you probably know a lot more than I know, because frankly I don't know very much, although I can name all six of Henry VIII's wives and tell you exactly what happened to each and every one of them. Oh, and I can also name every winner of American Idol. But that's it.).

what is the ARCS and the NCTE. i am a kid and really dont know these things.
How exciting! "Tiny" news indeed :)
I agree with Becky. That's very exciting! I look forward to reading the book.
Hi to jmaster1324 and to Becky-
I'm excited also.
For jmaster1324 and anyone else who doesn't know, an ARC is an advanced reading copy of a book. It looks like a paperback, and it's published before the book is, and distributed for free to people as a way of publicizing the book.
NCTE stands for the National Council Of Teachers Of English. It has a very big conference every year in November.
Kelly, Ruben, Fantasia, Carrie, Taylor, Jordin, David and Kris.
They're the American Idols, not Henry VIII's wives!
Ooh, Jen Robinson-
You slipped in while I was naming the Idols.
I'm filling out a publicity form for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt right now.
After they read my answers, they may regret ever publishing my books!
Too late for them to back out now, Sue. The fans would be devastated. (grin)
OK. I've held myself back for several days, but I have to do it:
Catherine, Anne, Jane, Anne, Catherine, Catherine
They're Henry VIII wives, not the American Idols.
(divorced, executed, died of natural causes, annulled, executed, widowed)
Good morning Wendy-
There was no reason to hold back. This isn't a hold back kind of a joint!
I can name his kids too: Mary, Henry Fitzroy, Elizabeth, and Edward. That can't be the whole list though, because I'm pretty sure Catherine of Aragon had a baby boy who lived for a day or so. So that's the list of kids who made it past infancy.
No grandkids though. If there had been, English history might have been quite different!
Yes, but how many children did he have out of wedlock? I would imagine lots.
Hallo Paige Y.-
As far as I can remember, Henry VIII had only the one out of wedlock son- Henry Fitzroy, who died when he was a teenager.
His first two wives had more than one pregnancy each, although only one child who survived infancy.
But unlike lots of other kings, Henry didn't have a whole bunch of kids.
Thats great. I am going to NCTE (ALAN Conference) in November. Maybe I will be lucky enought to get an ARC.

Hi Ann Marie-
I hope you can get a copy then also.
As I get more information about the ARCs, I'll let people know.
Both myself and my 14 yr old will be waiting anxiously for the ARC and try to catch one or else we will have to wait until January. Seems like a long time but will probably fly by.
Hello Donura-
Time does fly unless you're waiting for something, in which case it crawls.
I am full of life lessons.
January is the scheduled date for the release of the audiobook version of This World We Live In, two and a half months before the book version is due to be published.
I have no idea how HMH feels about that. I, on the other hand, am as impatient to hear the book as I am to read it!
Ooh ARCS! Shiny! How very exciting!!!
Happy Sunday Morning Texas Pixie-
ARCs sure are pretty.
I look forward to seeing mine!
this book was the best but i`m a younger reader so i love your stories like this.
