I just want to thank the 217 people who voted in the poll (far more than I ever thought would) and the 60 or so people who were kind enough to leave comments. If I'm ever feeling blue about my life or my career, I'll reread those comments and cheer myself right up.
I emailed my editor a couple of mornings ago to let her know about the poll, and she responded very quickly to say how impressed she was at the number of people who had voted and who had left comments.
An idea for a possible fourth book has been floating around in my mind. If Houghton Mifflin Harcourt indicates they're interested, and if the idea stops floating long enough for me to work it through, I'll certainly let you know.
Thank you again. I know how fortunate I am to have you interested in my books, and I am very very grateful.

Yay!!!
I am sad that I missed voting in your poll! It might be better that I didn't, though, as I would have been a 'vote early and vote often' and definitely stacked the deck with multiple votes in the YES column! I would LOVE a fourth book in the moon series.
I'm so excited to hear you have an idea floating around! Your publisher would be nuts not to ask you to capture that idea. Once anyone reads your moon books they become totally invested in those characters and anxious to find out how they are doing.
I'm excited that you have an idea floating around for a possible Book 4! But first you're going to finish Hart, right? Right??
I love the way you're spending your "retirement."
An idea floating around? How epic! I'm crossing my fingers AND toes, thats how excited I am for the possiblity.

I posted a comment, but missed the official "poll" apparently... so add one more to your poll for YES ;-)
Have you come up with a working title? If not, I'd like to nominate TOMORROW IS A LONG TIME. Anybody else have any ideas on this? You could take another poll the way you did for the title of Book 3.
You are my hero, Susan!
Good Sunday morning to April, Heather, Jeff Vincent, Elaine Marie Alphin, qwertyuiop, Anonymous and Anonymous and thank you one and all!
