Susan, I just had an old professor of mine (who is now teaching middle school overseas!) send me that article this morning because she thought I'd enjoy it so much!
She says her 8th graders LOVE the LAWKI series and are really into the story.
I love hearing about how certain books and series can touch the hearts and minds of young readers!
