Decide For Yourselves- I Have To Dust

In the midst of not dusting and not vacuuming and not cleaning the refrigerator, I have been thinking a fair amount about The World We Live In. My friend Christy has cleverly never called me back, so I haven't had anyone to share my thoughts with.

I know there are differences of opinion amongst you about how much you want me to reveal and how much you don't. A number of you lived through a completely written third book that will never see the light of day (it was completely unusable, and besides, it's in the hard drive of my now dead computer). You may well not want to hear all about a whole different third book, even though this one really will get published someday. Or you may not want to be spoilered to excess. Or you may want to know each and every plot twist as I write and rewrite.

So I figured I'd set up a poll. Majority (or more likely plurality) will rule. You decide how detailed you want me to be about the plot and suchlike, while I resume dusting and vacuuming and cleaning the refrigerator.

Do those of us who would like to be with you all the way as you "give birth" to your book have the option of communicating with you by e-mail if the others (heaven forbid!) don't want to do it this way?

Hi Anonymous Santa Fe-

Let's see how the poll turns out before I make any decisions like that.

Although I have to say, you did just give me an idea...

Hello again.

I think too much dust got into my brain. I've decided, on second thought, the idea I had a minute ago, won't work.

So it's back to let's see what happens with the poll!

It is too hard to decide. Do you want to open Christmas presents before going to bed knowing there will be fewer/no presents in the morning, but you can play with them right now?

Please! Tell us more. For example, what happened to the uncles in Arizona? What happened with Julie? Papi and Mami?

I find my best ideas either come when the water is running or on a long walk.

Nobody likes listening to my ideas though.

I vote 'yes' to hear yours.

Nora expresses the answer, beautifully.

Well I lived through most of the Dead and the Gone planning as well as the now, completely dead P3B. I would really like to hear about the plans for The World We Live In, so if the poll works against me I would like the idea of an email list too!

I always forget to go back and read the posts I've skipped simply because I don't want want to read spoilers. Eventually, I'll get around to reading that dead & the gone outline, but I still haven't.

It seems like less than the desired amount of information is still somewhat attractive to those who vote for learning as much as possible here, whereas the opposite is certainly not true.

Just some thoughts. Been feeling so political lately. Hope you had a nice Halloweekend.

Tell us everything, please!

I'd love to hear you thoughts as you go.

(Especially at the moment, because I'm trying NaNoWriMo and it's much harder this year for some reason!)
