Hi to Alison and WandaV and thank you from Scooter and me!
Hello Sue.Saw this and had to comment. I had a cat just like thi once. I called her Princess Diana(don't ask why). Anyhoo, Princess Diana was a terrible cat. Clawed at my furniture—clawed at me. Tore down my bedroom curtains on more than one occasion. And had the bad habit of pooing behind my toilet. Needless to say, I grew tired of Princess, although I loved her. And decided to give her to my neighbors kid who had another cat before I decided to move. I waited 6 months before I called to see how she was doing. They told me they had to change her name. Devastated, I asked why. They said that Princess was now called King after he'd gotten their other cat pregnant. Terrible, right? My interview with you just went up. Hope you stop by.Sharde
Just bought The third book..already 1/4 thru it..great series.. recommending it to everyone ..my oldest(16) is about to start the first book!
finished this world we live in... wow.. great book..wish there was a 4th to read..lol
Hi to Sharde and again to Alison-I like the Princess Diana/King story. Scooter was a boy from the first time I met him, and he remains one, even after his "big boy surgery." A lunatic boy, but a boy.I'm glad you like the books, Alison. Isn't it good they're short!
I'm preparing to do a book talk on LAWKI for my co-workers this Thursday at Scholastic Book Fairs, a ritual we do before every meeting. I absolutely loved it and will share it with each one of the media specialists I talk to every day! Scooter is adorable - I have 4 cats myself (a recent story for another day). Any comment you'd like me to relay to our group of book fair consultants here in NC?
Hi Lori Pappas-You can tell them my mother is a North Carolina native (Winston-Salem), and that I'm very appreciative of all the work you and your colleagues do to bring the joy of reading to kids!
