Die Welt Wie Wir Sie Kannten Is Now Available In Paperback

According to German Amazon, it has been since October.  I had to do a little bit of prodding to get my copies, and then it took a few weeks post prodding for them to get here, and then I admit to having been distracted by various other things before staging the Welcome To Your New Home Oh Little Die Welt Wie Wir Sie Kannten Party this afternoon.

But stage it I did.

First I cleared off the table. That was enough to get Scooter interested.

He checked things out impatiently, but the party hadn't begun.*

Then I introduced little Die Welt to its Buxtehude Bulle Award winning Die Welt big brother.

A well attended German Moonbook family reunion was next.

Little Die Welt was eager to meet the rest of the international Life As We Knew It clan.

Scooter, happy the festivities had begun, checked things out.

But rather than seeing the guests off (and helping the hostess carry them back to the den), Scooter withdrew for a quiet nap.

Not a bad idea!

*Actually, the camera went off by itself and the picture is out of focus, but Scooter is so cute I decided to post it anyway.

Wonderful that Scooter is so well-behaved. I've heard horror stories from people who claim their cat CHEWS on books. Luckily, my cat doesn't care for books ;-)

Hello Tez Miller (whose tweets I read every morning)-

Scooter really enjoys modeling. Once or twice I've had to coax him into posing, but most times, like today, he's ready and willing before I am.

I guess he knows how photogenic he is!

Either that, or he's getting high on New Book Scent - it's okay, it's legal ;-)

Cute idea and Scooter looks as if he was sad that he isn't able to read... =D

I guess the English books look nicer, but maybe the German picture goes better with the topic... The original looks so romantic... =D

Many greetings from Germany by the way! =D
I love those books and I'm really looking forward to the fourth part to be translated soon... =D

I also made a review for each of the three first books on my Youtube channel (it's a channel all about books). =)

(Excuse me, if I did any stupid mistakes in my language!)

I hope there will be lots of more books in this series! ;-)

Good morning (well, it's morning here) to Tez Miller and Gia Vogel-

I love all the book jackets except one (which, now that I think about it, I left out yesterday). I love all the different ways the moon and the world are portrayed.

Scooter likes anything he can knock over, rip to shreds, bite, or generally annoy (except for the knocking over part, he does all the rest with me).

And Gia Vogel, your English is amazing. I still get nightmares when I think about my giving a talk in German!
