Trailer Park

Much as I love Life As We Knew It (and I do love Life As We Knew It, in its many incarnations), it would be wrong for me to act like I don't love its siblings, The Dead And The Gone and This World We Live In every bit as much.

Fortunately for me, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt loves them all as well, and because of that great love (or for reasons I may never understand) has commissioned a book trailer for the three of them together.

Most likely, you've already seen Part 1, but Parts 2 and 3 should be new to you (and very delightfully dramatique).

So here it is: The Complete The Trilogy Doesn't Have A Name But It Does Have A Trailer Book Trailer!

I love it! I'm going to show it to my kids tomorrow since we just finished reading the books. Now, I've just got to convince my department head to order a set of This World We Live In.

It looks amazing! I love how they incorporated all of the titles in. I can't wait to read them all! ^_^

OMG!!! That is soooooo cool! I love how it is very dramatic! People in 2010 crave dramatics (and vampires, but that is an entire different freaky route). I love it!

Good morning Linda Jacobs and Anonymous and Rachel Maria and Sunshine-

And it is a good morning too. Bright and sunshiny and my friends coming to visit this weekend.

I love the trailers. I especially love the ending, with the snow and the tornado. Oh, and the birds in the d&g trailer. And the eye in LAWKI.

Oh heck. I love them all. I even love my word verification du jour, which is "brizskyf."

I'll probably love it even more after I've had breakfast!

I hope you have fun in Colorado!! My audiobook pack came on a great day. You see, I just graduated from my school and the day I got it was the day before I graduated. That was the formal dinner dance. Alas, I did not have a date. However the night got totally better when my crush whom I have known for 11 years (he likes me too) asked me to dance during a slow song. Yeah he won't ask me out because he doesn't want to complicate things (he told that to my twin). I hope he comes to his scences and doesn't let me get away. Well, I got my audio book pack when I danced with him. It was kinda like the perfect ending to the perfect night. I wore a beautiful dress with white heels and he wore a suit. It was nice. Very nice. How was your day when you got your audiobook pack?

Sunshine,

Thanks! And thats wonderful! I'm really glad your crush asked you out. Like you said, hope he comes to his senses! :D

It was a great ending to a not so good day. The day I got mine my little brother had a 24 hour bug, so I spent the day taking care of him (He threw up 7 or 8 times... ewww). But then I got my audiobook, which brightened my day up a lot! So a happy ending to a not so fun day. :)
Also, congratulations on graduating! High school, right?

Courtney,

I just graduated eighth grade. My old school only went k-8. I have known my crush since pre-school. On my graduation, I was like a leaky faucet. My old art teacher is the best. When I was crying I tald her, "I'm happy. Can't you tell?" I was crying and half hyperventillating then. Oh, and my crush, Mike, was crying too. I love when guys show their emotions. Yeah, I hugged him once good-bye (he is going to an all boys high school. I am going to a co/ed one). Later, I went back to him and I was hoping to get more when I told him this, "Mike, We have known each other for 11 years. One farewell hug is not going to cut it." I was crying there too. We hugged once again and said our farewells. I went to all my girlfriends and I heard someone calling my name. Surely, it was him. My hopes got high that he would ask me out, but he didn't. Instead, his mom wanted to get a picture of him and me together. We hugged for the third time. WE still text each other (I still drop subtle hints to what I want). Courtney, You'll never believe this, but here it goes. A few weeks before school ended, he asked out my x-best friend (She started ignoring me, so guess who made it on my ex list). AT that time, she was still my BFF. That hurt. Thank goodness she said no. I feel just like the Taylor Swift song You Belong With Me. Lyrics "Can't you see that I'm the one who understands you? Been here here all along, so why can't you see? You belong with me-e-e-e. You belong with me."

What a stupid day for your brother to get sick. It must have felt like, "What did I ever do to deserve this?! Why me?!!" It's like couldn't he wait one more day before he go sick? Well, at least you'll always remember the day you get your audio book pack. When you are old and in a nursing home and your grand kids come to see you, you can always say, "I remember the day I got my audio book pack from such a great author. She inscribed the book to me and everything. The day was a wreched one at that-"
Write back,

~~ Sunshine :-)

Sunshine,

You're older then I am. :) I just finished 6th grade, my first year in middle school. A bit scary, but it was nice at that. I promised myself I wouldn't cry, because my school is so small that we'll have our teachers 1 or 2 more times before we graduate high school, so I'm happy.
That stinks that he asked your x best friend out. Lucky for you she said no. :) Hopefully he'll take the hint and ask you out. soon, too. (and I love that song! :D)
At my school, well, we're younger then you, so my grade is still kind of on the whole, eww! Boyfriend/Girlfriend. Eww! stage. I have a crush, sure, but I knew he wasn't going to say anything to me, and I'm fine with that. I might not be fine with that later, but that's the future, so... :)
Yeah, I was grumpy when my brother got sick. But thats ok, because I got the audiobook. :) And I LOLed at that! Yes, "One of my favorite authors sent me a free audiobook and a free book, both written by her, inscribed and everything. Yet, that day really stank." I can just picture myself saying that. :D

Courtney,

Yeah, I just graduated from a small privite Catholic school. I had a special bond with all of the teachers. My graduating class was only 47 students. That was considered a big class, so you can probally pictuare the size of the school. Now, I shall be going to a medium sized pirivte Catholic high school. Alas, there shall be no Mike there. That is really going to stink. Yeah when I was in sixth grade, I was still that awkward short rotund girl. I had some, but not much intrest in guys. Over the summer, I grew to 5'2 1/2 and slimmed down. I got an immense intrest in guys. I went back for seventh grade, some guys were ready for a realationship. That's when this one couple that lasted for 2 years got together. They didn't have a relationship. It was mostly like a mutual make-out session relationship. They would have full blown make outs in the middle of the hallway. They made sure a lot of people were watching too. Grossss! I found that in 7th grade the guys are still . . . boys. 8th grade they get tall, buff, and insanely cute! In 8th grade the boys turn into men. Always remember boys mature much slower than girls. When they reach your current maturity level, you will be much more mature. In a nut shell, give them time. Soon they won't think girls are icky. They will start fighting over girls. Courtney, your crush will probally like you. You seem like a very like-able young lady. If he won't talk to you now, you start. Try to make a friendship with him. Mike and I have been friends for 11 years. I like him. He likes me, but he doesn't want to complicate things. Maybe he will be less of a pessimist when he gets into girls. Hopefully, he will think of YOU before any other girl. Also, don't be afraid to cry when you graduate. I told myself that I wouldn't cry, but I was like Niagra Falls or the Hoover Dam breaking. The smaller the school, the more attached you'll get. Trust me. I've been at that the small school for 9 years. Just remember to take tissues. My BFF's mother saw me crying and hyperventillating and handed my BFF a tissue to hand to me. Trust me, those were very happy tears.

Yeah, that would be hillarious. You'd be on the rocking chair with your walker right beside it. The year would be 2072 and you'd be like, "I remember in two-thousand-ten -".

Courtney and June,

Yeah, let's leave Sue's blog for her books. When ever when we want to talk about guys or stuff like that click onto Rachel Maria. Then onto Pure Mud. Trust me, her poems are beautiful, and we could all comment and have a great time.
