Yippee! A Starred Publishers Weekly Review For Blood Wounds!

This is the first review for Blood Wounds and it's a beauty.

Not to mention that shiny red thing on the top certainly looks like a star to me!

Here's the part my publisher will be delighted to quote (me too; I'll be quoting it for days to come):

This intense psychological drama, showing the brightest and darkest sides of humanity, offers remarkable acts of courage and disturbing images of domestic violence. Willa's frankly portrayed grief, confusion, and uncertainties will have a strong impact on readers.

I think I'll spend the rest of the day smiling!

Big smile from me! Can't wait to read it! I noticed it wasn't available for Kindle so have requested it several times!

Thanks Linda Jacobs.

I don't know how Kindle picks and chooses its books, but they've had all 3 moon books, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

I could use some more caution in my life!

Hi Youryoungestbiggestfan and Lisa-Marie Jordan and thank you-

These days I'm too busy working to watch anything on TV or read anything other than newspapers. So I haven't seen The Colony, and I probably won't for several months, if then.

Thank you for the suggestion though!

Being one of the recipients of the coveted arc of Blood Wounds, I am very happy to say that I agree with Publisher's Weekly! Yay! I had middle school students waiting for the book at the end of the year. I know that they will love it as well.

Thanks Nina.

It's fun to imagine a whole new set of people reading it!

Ms. Pfeffer-

Has Blood Wounds been released yet?

Susan Beth Pfeffer said...

Hi tigerlily* and please call me Sue or if you prefer Sue*-

According to the countdown clock on the right side of the blog, Blood Wounds will come out in another 60 days give or take a few hours.

Generally, a book shows up at my doorstep and Amazon's a few days before the official publication date.

When either of those two doorsteps get crossed, I'll be certain to announce it here!
